Mission: The organizations of Downtown Woodstock connect our community by energizing, growing and preserving local businesses, families and individuals.
Today, the Main Street Woodstock organization remains grounded in the national 4 Point Approachtm principles of Design, Organization, Promotion and Economic Restructuring.
Main Street Woodstock is an accredited, member-driven 501(c)(6) nonprofit organization funded through the city lodging tax that provides resources and networking opportunities to area businesses, individuals and the central business district.
Opportunities to get involved include:
- Networking opportunities through monthly membership meetings
- Regular events
- Small business workshops
- Ribbon Cuttings
- Design improvements and beautification
The Woodstock Downtown Development Authority supports the mission of Main Street Woodstock by contributing to larger, physical bricks and mortar projects in Downtown Woodstock. Over the past several years, these projects have included the Herb Priest pedestrian crossing, facade grants, the purchase of the Woodstock Trolley and improvements to the Mill Street parking lot.
We are excited to continue to grow Downtown Woodstock into a vibrant place that our residents, business owners and visitors will cherish for generations to come!
