Today, the Main Street Woodstock organization remains grounded in the national 4 Point Approach principles of Design, Organization, Promotion and Economic Restructuring.
Main Street Woodstock is an accredited, member-driven 501(c)(6) nonprofit organization funded through the city lodging tax that provides resources and networking opportunities to area businesses, individuals and the central business district.

The Woodstock Downtown Development Authority supports the mission of Main Street Woodstock by contributing to larger, physical bricks and mortar projects in Downtown Woodstock. Over the past several years, these projects have included the Herb Priest pedestrian crossing, facade grants, the purchase of the Woodstock Trolley and improvements to the Mill Street parking lot.
