Pivot is an annual 2 or 3 day intensive trip to another city similar to Woodstock or what Woodstock aspires to be. Offered to business leaders and local government officials, participants will travel together and meet with leaders in other communities to learn about what makes their community special.
It will also give the participants the opportunity to learn more about each other and help foster leadership roles within our community.
Depending on which community is visited, there will be a focus on the program (i.e.: tourism, downtown, parking, corporate business recruitment).
The participant will be responsible for their cost which will be set by the Pivot Steering Committee and be all inclusive.
2017 Pivot will take place August 16-18 in Asheville, NC.
